Hanson Slaughter has more than 14 years of experience in investment banking and public finance. He spent five years as Vice President at Porter, White & Company, a Birmingham-based regional bank, as an investment banker serving both municipal and middle-market corporate finance clients. Previously, Mr. Slaughter worked in PaineWebber’s Municipal Securities Group in New York, where he served as a generalist in the infrastructure finance group. At Sterne Agee, Mr. Slaughter is responsible for all tax-exempt, taxable municipal and variable rate debt issuance and has overseen the issuance of hundreds of issues in excess of $23.8 billion in par amount. He received an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia. He holds professional licenses consisting of Series 7, 53, and 63.
