David Lucas has more than 30 years of experience in investment banking in the public finance industry. Prior to joining Sterne Agee, he was Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Essex Company, an Investment Limited Partner of J.C. Bradford & Co., successor to Essex, and Senior Vice President/Municipal Finance at Interstate, . Mr. Lucas has served many municipal clients in the structure and placement of financings for traditional infrastructure improvements and industrial development projects. He also manages Sterne Agee’s retail office. Mr. Lucas earned a degree in banking and finance from the University of Georgia. He holds professional licenses consisting of Series 7, 8, and 63.
