Sanford M. Burns is a Senior Vice President in Sterne Agee’s Fixed Income Division Credit Group as a Senior High Yield Research Analyst. He covers the Paper & Packaging, Basics, Industrials and Special Situations sectors. Sandy has been ranked six times as a leading analyst in the Institutional Investor All-America Fixed Income Research Team for the paper and forest products industry, with a number one or two ranking three times. Prior to joining Sterne Agee, Sandy had been with KBC Financial Products, and also has sell-side experience with Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust and Smith Barney. Sandy also has buy-side experience with S.A.C. Capital and Alliance Capital.
Sandy is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a B.S. in Economics and from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business with an M.B.A.
