John Nadel

John Nadel joined Sterne Agee in July 2008, having served previously as Co-General Partner of a financial services dedicated hedge fund, Viva Capital Partners. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Fox-Pitt, Kelton where he co-covered the life insurance sector. During his tenure there, the life insurance research team was ranked #1 in the 2005 and 2006 annual Greenwich Associates survey. Before moving to the sellside, Mr. Nadel spent the vast majority of his career in the insurance industry. He led the investor relations efforts for National Financial Partners and helped take the company public in 2003, spent seven years at MetLife in a range of positions from financial reporting to investor relations, and spent six years at Prudential primarily in financial reporting and corporate treasury roles. He holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Villanova University and a M.B.A. in Management from Monmouth University.
