Arvind Bhatia joined Sterne Agee in January 2006 as the Associate Director of Research and is currently the Director of Equity Research. He also follows companies in the Interactive Entertainment, Digital Entertainment and Consumer areas. Before joining Sterne Agee, Mr. Bhatia was with Southwest Securities. He has thrice received recognition in The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on The Street Analysts Survey” in June 2003, June 2005, and June 2007 for the leisure and specialty retail categories. Previously, Mr. Bhatia worked in the Equity Research department of Dallas-based Dain Rauscher, Inc., covering the retail, consumer products and food processing industries. He has also worked in sales for Usha International Ltd., an international consumer products marketing company headquartered in New Delhi, India. He received his CFA in 2001 and an MBA from Pittsburg State University, Kansas. He received a Bachelor’s of Commerce (Honors) degree from Delhi University in 1992.
