David S. Havens

Mr. Havens joined Sterne Agee in December 2008 as a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst covering the Oilfield Services & Equipment industry.  Prior to joining Sterne Agee, Mr. Havens was with Morgan Stanley & Co. for nine years covering energy in various roles including six years in equity research covering the Oilfield Services & Equipment industry and the remaining three years managing an energy portfolio within the proprietary trading division.  In early 2008, Mr. Havens joined a New York based hedge fund where he served as a Managing Director and the Senior Energy Analyst for a $3.5 billion equity long short fund. Mr. Havens has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering.
