Craig Jampol joined Sterne Agee in March, 2008. He has over 25 years of experience in capital markets. In 1980, he started his career in the municipal bond department at Gruntal & Co. Four years later, he became Gruntal’s equity syndicate manager, a position he held until he left in 1994 to create and establish the equity syndicate department at SoundView Technology Group. During Mr. Jampol’s 11 years at SoundView, the firm co-managed over 180 public offerings worth more than $30 billion. In addition, SoundView was the book-runner for seven offerings worth approximately $350 million. In 1999, he led the effort for SoundView’s promotion to the “Major Bracket.” Mr. Jampol served on the Commitment and Compliance Committees at SoundView. He is a past member of the FINRA District 10 Committee. He has also been associated with W.R. Hambrecht + Co., Caris & Co., and L.F. Rothschild.
