Mark Behrman joined Sterne Agee in August 2007. He has extensive experience as an investment banker and as an entrepreneur. He has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry and has been involved with originating, structuring, and financing over $3 billion of public and private equity and debt offerings, as well as numerous merger and acquisition and advisory assignments for middle market companies. His industry experience includes industrial technology, general manufacturing and distribution, business services, healthcare, financial services, and entertainment. Prior to Sterne Agee, Mr. Behrman was a Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at J Giordano Securities Group, a boutique investment bank. Mr. Behrman has also served as Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Berko Productions, LLC; Founder and Senior Managing Director of BlueStone Capital Partners, LP and Trade.com Global Markets, Inc.; and Founder and Director of the BlueStone/AFA Private Equity Fund. Mr. Behrman’s career also includes stints as an investment banker at both Paine Webber, Inc. and Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. Mr. Behrman holds a BS degree from the State University of New York, Binghamton and an MBA from Hofstra University.
