David Bain joined Sterne Agee in February 2007 as a Managing Director of Investment Banking. From February 2004 until February 2007, he was a Managing Director at Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. focused on gaming equities. From 2002 until joining MCF & Co., he was managing director of the research department at the Seidler Companies, Inc., where he also covered gaming related securities. Prior to that, Mr. Bain was a gaming analyst with Roth Capital Partners. Before Roth, he was with Prudential Securities and the entertainment law firm of Issacman, Kaufman and Painter. Before that, Mr. Bain owned and operated an entertainment management firm based in Los Angeles. He received a JD with an emphasis in corporate law from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles; a MBA from Pepperdine University with a major in finance; and a BA in history from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is an active member of the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, Business Law Association, Public Interest Law Association, and was a scholarship athlete while at UCLA. Mr. Bain is based in our Newport Beach office.
