F. Eugene Woodham
Chief Operating Officer
F. Eugene Woodham was named Chief Operating Officer of the firm’s parent company, Sterne Agee Group, Inc., in January 2003. He began his career with Sterne Agee in July 1995 as Chief Financial Officer. Along with James S. Holbrook, Jr., CEO, Mr. Woodham is responsible for all financial aspects of the parent company and each of its subsidiaries. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the firm.
Mr. Woodham, a CPA, worked in the public accounting profession from 1974 until 1986, including eight years with Arthur Andersen & Co. He served as President of Secor Bank, Federal Savings Bank, until its merger into Regions Bank in December 1994. At Secor, he served in various capacities including CEO from October 1986 until December 1994.
