Fred Wagstaff

Fred Wagstaff joined Sterne Agee in 2002, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He has 23 years of experience in the securities industry, and three years with the international public accounting firm of Ernst & Whinney. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wagstaff held senior leadership positions, including Chief Financial Officer, for Wachovia Securities, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has served on the SIFMA Capital and Federal Taxation Committees. Mr. Wagstaff earned a BS in Accounting from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, and is Series 27 licensed.
