Grant Robicheaux promoted to Managing Director March 02, 2007 (Birmingham, Ala.) Grant Robicheaux has been named Managing Director, Head of Government and Agency Trading for Sterne Agee. He will oversee all proprietary trading, execution and new issue underwriting in US Government and Agency bonds. Grant will also assist in the development of new institutional accounts involved in the US Agency business. Grant joined Sterne Agee in September, 2005 and alongside Royce Guillebeau has helped to expand distribution of the product to both institutional and retail clients. In 2006, Sterne Agee rolled out a very successful electronic trading program and an expanded research and analytics platform. Prior to joining Sterne Agee, Grant worked for Barclays Capital in New York and London. While at Barclays, he made markets in US Agency Bonds and Eurobonds. Grant received a Master of Arts in Finance from the University of Alabama. Grant and his wife Kelly just celebrated the first birthday of their son, John.
