Sterne Agee Hires Three New Financial Advisors
Charles E. Norwood, Judson A. Smith and Ryan M. Weiss have been hired by Sterne Agee as Financial Advisors.
Mr. Norwood is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Economics and Marketing. He began his financial services career in 2002 at NBC Securities and has been among that firm’s best Financial Advisors from a production and client satisfaction perspective during the past several years. Originally from Gulf Shores, Alabama, Charlie and his wife, Kelly, currently reside in Mountain Brook, Alabama. Charlie enjoys golf and running in his spare time.
Mr. Smith joins Sterne Agee from Wachovia Securities where he built a successful practice. Judson is originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and graduate of Belhaven College where he played football. Judson and his wife Cindy have three children; Judson, 13, Camille, 11 and Baker, 9. Their family lives in Mountain Brook, Alabama. In his free time, Judson enjoys coaching his children’s various sports teams as well as cooking and spending time at his Mississippi farm.
Mr. Weiss attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and is a 2005 graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Economics and Finance. Ryan began his financial services career shortly after graduation at NBC Securities in Birmingham and joins us after a brief stint at Morgan Stanley. He currently lives in Homewood, Alabama and is engaged to Hillary Berman, also of Birmingham. In his spare time he enjoys soccer and golf.
