Birmingham, AL (June 2, 2008) Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. served as Underwriter (Sole Manager) for The Hospital Authority of Crisp County’s recent $13,000,000 (in aggregate) Revenue Anticipation Certificates. The Series 2008A ($10 million) and 2008B ($3 million) Certificates were issued through the Hospital Authority and security for the bonds is the gross revenues of the hospital and payments to be made pursuant to an Intergovernmental Contract between the Authority and Crisp County. Sterne Agee was successful in helping the Authority obtain an investment grade (A3) rating from Moody's Investors Service and in securing bond insurance from Assured Guaranty Corp. with a resulting AAA Rating.
