Mark Behrman joins Sterne Agee
Birmingham, AL (October 9, 2007) – Mark Behrman has joined Sterne Agee in its New York office as Co-head of Investment Banking.
Behrman, along with Steve Miller of Sterne Agee, are charged with coordinating and expanding Sterne Agee’s investment banking activities.
Mr. Behrman joins the firm with 25 years of Wall Street experience, including PaineWebber, Drexel Burnham, and most recently, J. Giordano Securities as its Head of Investment Banking. Mr. Behrman has participated in over $3 billion in transactions across many industry verticals, including: business services, energy, healthcare and industrials. Under Mr. Behrman and Mr. Miller’s leadership, along with the support of Sterne Agee’s 16 member Investment Banking team located in New York, Newport Beach, St. Louis and Birmingham, Sterne Agee is positioned to provide a full range of transaction and advisory services to clients.
Mr. Behrman holds a BS degree from the State University of New York, Binghamton and an MBA from Hofstra University.
Mr. Behrman, his wife and their two children reside in New York.
