Through years of thorough research and analysis, we have developed a reputation as a premier boutique fixed income manager. It is our attention to risk management which has allowed us to deliver consistent risk-adjusted returns to our institutional clients.
Our proprietary fixed income strategy has been developed over the past decades around our core competencies. We believe very strongly in paying attention to global economies, market cycles, and trends. It is our hypothesis that in studying these cycles and trends, our portfolio managers can make informed decisions about the direction of the markets and therefore our clients can benefit from those movements. The past few decades of outperformance of our benchmark have only helped solidify this belief.
In addition to our core fixed strategy, we have developed a core plus strategy to increase our options for adding value to your portfolio. In this scenario, we continue to employ our core strategy but we have the added ability to take advantage of other investment opportunities available when we feel the fixed income market is not sufficient to attain our goal.
We are constantly on the lookout for new investment options. We do not jump on every new idea that comes across our desks, but we do carefully research new opportunities. In the summer of 2006, we added a macro inflation hedge fund to broaden our current investment choices. In response to the increasing focus of markets on global demands, we found that a hedge fund would allow us to offer a product whose sole goal was to outpace inflation by a considerable margin.

We also manage several alternative investment strategies to meet the demands of modern investors searching for additional non-correlated diversification in their portfolios. We are careful in our selection of these products. There are many alternatives available in the marketplace today. We want only those that add true value while minimizing risk.
