T. Jerry Harris, CFA
President

Jerry Harris joined Sterne Agee Asset Management in June 1997 as President. He is responsible for investment management, product development, and performance monitoring. Mr. Harris is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and was the Fixed Income Strategist, Economist, and Portfolio Manager for a large regional bank from 1986 to 1997. In that role, he managed the bank’s proprietary fixed income mutual fund, along with various other institutional fixed income portfolios. Mr. Harris has more than 30 years of investment experience, having also worked as an account executive and investment consultant for two national brokerage firms.
